EEMB 225: TER. C. CYCL.

University of California, Santa Barbara

Explores the terrestrial carbon cycle as a central component of the Earth s ystem and a critical frontier for climate solutions. Examines the biologica l and physical processes that govern terrestrial carbon fluxes and storage, and how these processes respond to global change. The course also engages students in analyzing nature-based solutions and critically evaluating stra tegies to protect and enhance terrestrial carbon sinks in a rapidly changin g world.
