EEMB 90A: INTRO ECOL SCIENCE

Part of a NSF funded grant focused on improving STEM at Hispanic Serving In stitutes (HSIs), called FUERTE, the course supports students as they transi tion into college, helps them choose their major and direction of study at UCSB, and forms a learning community. It also serves as an introduction to the FUERTE program, presents logistical information regarding program sched uling and requirements, and introduces students to ecological research, and research methods and tools.
