This course engages with the first-generation college student experience. B eing the first in one's family to attend a university is a major achievemen t. The course provides a dedicated space to explore the first-generation id entity and the diverse backgrounds students bring to campus. Together we wi ll review some of the latest research on the first-generation college stude nt experience.
