This course examines the meme as the minimum unit of cultural evolution. Eq ual time is given to the theory of cultural evolution and hands-on analysis of memes. Focus on internet and pre-internet memes, including image-macro memes, videos, humor, proverbs, songs, games, words, technology, and other units of cultural evolution.
