PHYS 180: TEACHING PHYSICS

Introduction to basic concepts in education literature and learning theory. The course involves readings of articles and text drawn from general and P hysics education research and cognitive science. Students will engage in di scussions and reflective activities that apply and relate the ideas from th e readings to their own classroom experiences to help them become more effe ctive teachers and learners.
