University of California, Santa Barbara
Using the computational power of a computer has become central to the many fields - modern statistics , data science, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence etc. In this course students develop a working kno wledge of modern computational statistics applicable to data science, machi ne learning, deep learning. Students will develop an understanding of how c omputers are used to do statistics and why these methods work. This will en able effective use of methods of computational statistics in applications. We will use R programming language.
