PSY 10A: RESEARCH METHODS

Introduction to the methodology and practice of scientific psychology so th at students can critically evaluate research claims. Examines the multiple steps of the research process, including developing a testable hypothesis, operationalizing the hypothesis into independent and dependent variables, a dopting an appropriate methodology for the research question (e.g., survey, experiment, observation), and analyzing and interpreting data, as well as considering the ethical context of research.
