ART 145: Vector Art

Introduces students to the fundamentals and creation techniques for vector art and illustration using industry standard software. Explores the fundamentals and application of vector art and illustration with the projects, demos, and text-based lectures that walk you step by step though the processes. With feedback through weekly discussions, students build upon their existing knowledge and produce a skilled portfolio of digital work by the end of the quarter. Prerequisites for the summer course are waived. The summer offering is also open to non-art majors. The asynchronous online format allows students to watch video lectures and tutorials at their own pace as they complete the projects for the course and engage in critique with peers in written discussion forums. May be repeated for credit.
