ART 152A: Photographic Book

This studio-based course engages with the traditions and practices of the photographic book to examine and explore both narrative and non-narrative strategies. Students create a coherent photographic photo-book. Course examines the contemporary status of the photobook as well as the rich history of the medium. Editing, sequencing, and the production of photobooks is the centerpiece of this class. May be repeated for credit.
