BIOE 281Q: Coastal Marine Ecology

This weekly seminar centers on critical reading, quantitative synthesis, and constructive peer review in coastal and marine ecology. Combines discussion of selected publications with structured feedback on research plans, grant proposals, manuscripts, data analyses, lectures, and conference presentations. The overarching goal is to cultivate independent, creative scientists working at the interface of fundamental and applied community ecology, resilience theory, and coastal conservation. May be repeated for credit.
