Examines the history of nuclear weapons development, nuclear weapons use, nuclear testing, and nuclear power in the Pacific region from 1942 to the present. Students do research on nuclear science, medicine, energy, and weapons testing and their social, political, demographic, and environmental impacts.NOTE: This course satisfies the American History and Institutions requirement.
