Care is a human trouble, but not a human-only matter. This seminar explores care as a way of living, thinking, and knowing alongside objects, animals, organisms, forces, and entities. Drawing from feminist science and technology studies and the environmental humanities the course examines care—and associated notions such as repair, maintenance, and infrastructure—as a key lens for rethinking the material world of more-than-human relations. Beyond ethical and political frameworks, the course traces how care spans and shapes the material, epistemic, affective, and aesthetic dimensions of experience.
