LIT 126T: Time Travel

Explores time travel narratives in literature and film as an introduction to speculative and science fiction. Each week, a primary text is analyzed, supplemented with short stories and/or films. Focus is on both the imaginative/literary elements and the formal/logical structures of each time travel scenario. Authors may include Butler, Chiang, Delany, Heinlein, Russ, Vizenor, and Yu. Films may include Branco sai perto fica (Brazil, 2014) and Primer (USA, 2004).
