ARCH 1201: Modes of Communication

Introduces undergraduate architecture students to the value and importance of verbal and media-related communication in the discipline.�The primary theme of the course is the integral relationship between three types of language especially important to a career in architecture: description, analysis, and criticism. The course asks students to�consider similarities and differences between written and oral communication, and how visual media, especially video, augment how architects may communicate their ideas and proposals.
