CHEM 1200: Fundamentals of Chemistry

Primarily for students with little or no chemistry background who intend to take CHEM 1251. Introduction to the basic concepts, problem solving skills, and language of chemistry. Develops relationships between chemical formulas and equations, and explores calculations dependent upon these. Students who already have credit for CHEM 1251�with grade of C or above may not take CHEM 1200�for credit. CHEM 1200�will not fulfill chemistry degree requirements.
