Section information text: This course will give students the opportunity to go through the job application process, highlighting all stages of it, while strengthening their communication skills in a variety of ways. Professional Communication & Career Development will cover significant aspects of corporate communication, different types of business correspondence, diversity management, group dynamics, professional writing, effective public speaking, interview training & etiquette, conflict management, persuasive efforts, professional social media usage and beyond. After completing this course, students will be more prepared to assemble a package and application for a desired position, while having developed stronger communication skills to enhance their chances at pursuing distinct careers and succeeding as recent graduate hires.
