CSLG 8105: Introduction to Counselor Education and Supervision

Required in the first semester of doctoral study. �An orientation for doctoral students about the doctoral program, doctoral culture, the counseling faculty, and current and emerging professional issues in counselor education and supervision. �Students become familiar with CACREP standards and how they apply to counselor education. �In addition, students have the opportunity to learn about the research trends in the field of counseling. �Finally, the course addresses professional development as a scholar. �
