CUYC 3600: Community Engagement Capstone Seminar

Provides a culminating and comprehensive experience for students in the Minor in Urban Youth and Communities. Students synthesize the interdisciplinary theory and experiential learning around urban youth and education, communities, and social justice into a comprehensive community and school-based project lead by the student using practices of participatory action research. Section information text: This course is restricted to students in the Minor in Urban Youth and Communities. For authorization, contact the program director, Dr. Heather Coffey ([email protected]). Students are required to complete clinical hours at a community organization to complete the course requirements. Class will meet in Mebane Hall 321C.
