DTSC 8110: Statistics for Data Science

Fundamental statistical knowledge and examples solved with well-known statistical software in the context of data science. Topics include: probability distributions, data and statistical models, estimation approaches, confidence region and hypothesis testing, variance analysis and linear regression, logistic regression. The course is offered twice a week and has 3 graduate credits.
