Topics include the determinants of international trade patterns, international trade policy and economic integration, international monetary systems, exchange rates and exchange rate systems, the balance of payments, and the impact of globalization on national economies. Emphasis is on linking theory to current international economic events, policy debates, and business decision-making in global markets.
