GRAD 8340: Data Analysis and Visualization

Utilizes the scientific method, advanced Excel, Tableau and other emerging tools to explore data beyond students' fields of study. Students (1) learn to clean-up and organize data that is not their own; (2) perform sensitivity analysis and hypothesis testing in Excel; (3) create visualizations in Tableau; (4) use visualizations to perform data analysis for discovery and storytelling.
