Treatment of specific themes in Japanese culture.�Conducted in English.� Section information text: This is a Japanese Visual Art and Cultural course. We will analyse how artwork and creative practices reflects its culture, environment, ideas, and life. Through lectures, discussions, readings, and projects, we examine artwork in personal, social, and historical context. By the end of the semester, students develop skills in interpreting, understanding, and recognizing and applying the vibrant relationship between art, people, and society, not only in Japan but to their own.
