JOUR 2160: Intro to Journalism

Introduction to the basics of print journalism. Students cover a variety of stories designed to develop news and feature reporting/writing skills. Emphasis is placed on generating story ideas, making ethical news judgments, diversity issues in journalism, gathering information, and writing and editing articles. Students are also introduced to Associated Press style.
