MATH 2688: Math Awareness Seminar

This seminar focuses on the different areas of study and career opportunities within the mathematics, statistics, and mathematics education fields. Discussions in class and with visiting speakers include topics of internships, cooperative�education, and job opportunities while still in school as well as after graduation discussions�about career opportunities, resumes, cover letters, and strategies�on interviewing with companies. There are also discussions about graduate school, the best fit graduate school based upon a student's interests, how to apply, and GRE and GMAT possible requirements.�Recommended to be taken during the Sophomore year.
