MPAD 6350: Public Sector Financial Mgmt

Takes students beyond the introductory material in MPAD 6131�into a more thoroughgoing analysis of the finance function in modern governments. The dimensions of budgeting and financial management theory and practice which are examined include: public sector managerial accounting for revenues and expenditures; basic governmental accounting principles and procedures; the relationship of budgets to the accounting system; principles and concepts of revenue policy and administration. Topics covered are some of the fundamental aspects of public financial management.
