This clinical course focuses on the outcome management of critically ill adults with life threatening, rapidly changing physiological and pathophysiological conditions. Emphasis is on the role of the advanced practice nurse in developing, implementing and evaluating advanced care of critically ill adults. Clinical experiences are designed to provide opportunities in management and delivery of evidence-based care for the achievement of quality outcomes in a variety of healthcare environments. 240 supervised clinical hours.
