Capstone course. Seminar style exploration of a selected topic in the discipline. Includes writing a research paper and presenting the results to the class. Section information text: This course gives students a depth of knowledge on issues related to sex, gender and public policy in the United States, primarily at the national level. It also places heavy emphasis on skill development, including: using data to support an argument, connecting academic concepts with real world events, writing in a clear and concise manner, incorporating feedback into your work, and delivering oral presentations.
