SOWK 6441: Social Work Practicum I

The Foundation field practicum prepares students to apply generalist social work knowledge, skills, values, and ethical principles gained in the classroom to social work practice. �Students work in an approved field site under the supervision of a social work field instructor and attend a monthly seminar. Section information text: Full-Term course runs from August to December. Please refer to the academic calendar for specific start and end dates. 100% online synchronous course delivered using Canvas. The Required Zoom sessions are on the following Mondays: 8/17, 8/24, 9/14, 9/28, 10/5, 10/26, and 11/16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This course is restricted to Master of Social Work students.
