SOWK 7110: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Using the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, students will learn how to move from a comprehensive cognitive behavioral case conceptualization to treatment planning and intervention. Students will have the opportunity to implement specific Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques within the context of this course. This course will emphasize the integration of clinical expertise, knowledge of patient preferences and evidence-based interventions.
