SOWK 7130: Trauma and Recovery: Theory and Intervention

The history and evolution of trauma theory and social movements, and exploration of the impact of trauma and healing upon survivors. �Students master the foundational principles and basic skills of trauma intervention. �Students also participate in a community project that involves learning about services available for trauma survivors locally. This course is an asynchronous online course, so there are no required class meeting dates.
