KIN 417: RESISTANCE TRAIN

Prerequisites: KIN 345/L, KIN 346/L. Corequisite: KIN 417L. Preparatory: KIN 329/L. A course designed to prepare students to plan, develop and implement resistance training programs. Topics included will pertain to muscular strength and endurance conditioning, physiology of strength conditioning, muscular strength testing and evalutaion, and organization/administration of strength training programs. Students who complete this course are prepared to challenge the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist examination. Available for graduate credit.
