BIOL 31: Principles of Biology II

Concepts include: scientific method, origins of life, adaptation of organisms to different environments, ecology, and evolution. Lab/Act: Lecture 3 hours/Lab 3 hours. Satisfies GE Area: 5B and 5C. Life Science and Laboratory (Formerly Area B2 and B3). Prerequisite(s): BIOL 30 (with a grade of "C-" or better for all Biology majors). Must be majoring in Biology (all), Biomedical Eng, Biochemistry, Forensic Science (Biology and Chemistry concentrations only), Environmental Studies (all), Nutritional Science, Meteorology - Climate Science Concentration, Kinesiology, Computer Science, and Communicative Disorders.
