ENVS 187: Environmental Restoration

San Jose State University

Interdisciplinary art and science of restoring destroyed or degraded habitats. Emphasis on the interplay of ecological principles, policy, public involvement and economics in the planning, implementation and monitoring of restoration plans. Field work and independent research required. Prerequisite: ENVS 001, GE 5B course and any 100W, or instructor consent. Misc/Lab: Lecture 3 hours/lab 2 hours.
