Fundamental theories of physical evidence practically applied and the legal considerations involved in its recognition, collection preservation and presentation in court are covered. Topics include securing and recording the crime scene, collecting evidence, maintaining the chain of custody and reconstruction. Lecture 2 hours/activity 2 hours. Prerequisite(s): FS 11, FS Major/Minor, Upper Division Standing.
