Topics include kinetics of enzymatic reactions and microbial growth, batch and continuous culture reactors, product formulation, and nutrient utilization. Also studies oxygen transfer, bioreactor scale-up, air and media sterilization, fundamentals of bioreactor design, and bioseparations.
