Examines the ways that humans interact with, use, and perceive the environm ent and nature, with a focus on the cultural, political, and economic fea tures of human environment relationships across time and in different par ts of the world. Through readings, in-class activities and discussions, f ield trips, and research projects, students will gain a better understand ing of how anthropological theory, research, and applications can be used t o address contemporary environment topics and problems.
