An overview of theory and research related to emotion and its neural basis. Topics may include: behavioral, neural, and computational approaches to un derstanding emotions, the neural substrates of fear and other discrete emot ions, functions of emotions, regulation of emotion, group and cultural diff erences in emotion, and emotions consequences for social life.
