Writing is key to success in graduate school and in many careers in science , but there are aspects of it that people can struggle with (e.g., clearly communicating complex ideas, writing regularly, writing for general audienc es, etc.). In this course, students will (i) learn about and discuss the me chanics of writing academic papers, (ii) receive feedback on their writing and learn to provide constructive feedback to others, and (iii) engage in r eading and discussion about time management, handling rejection, and other challenges that academic writers may face.
