Provides high-level overview of strategic marketing skills needed to succee d in today?s competitive business environment. Enables motivated business a nd tech-oriented students to conduct detailed competitive, market & industr y analyses in order to execute an effective strategic marketing plan, focus ing on start-ups & established tech companies. Majority of course is skill- building through assigned readings, seminar lectures, guest lectures and ca se studies. In addition to gaining expertise, students benefit from working in teams and contributing to class discussions. Course culminates in group presentations of strategic marketing project. Projects are reviewed by a p anel with representation from industry.
