Internship in wide-ranging working environments, including government establishments, private businesses, as well as not-for-profit organizations, especially those focusing on issues affecting African and African Diaspora populations. The internship provides students with experiential learning in an environment that is consistent with the student's professional goals and growth. Section information text: This course serves as an upper-level practical work experience for gaining real-world application of the discipline of Africana Studies. No classroom meetings. Twice-monthly mentor meetings required. By permit only.
