Section information text: This class is about designing a story through the lens of a game designer. That means you’ll be taught how to structure a narrative, how to create game mechanics based off that narrative, and how to polish your story with those very same game mechanics. These skills will aid you in creating your own video games, tabletop roleplaying games, or board games. You’ll also learn how games can be adapted to other media, such as television shows or books, and how to take your footsteps into the game design industry.
