Physical computing considers tangible, embedded, and embodied ways that computing systems can interact directly with people and the physical world, such as in smart products and environments, wearable computing, or Internet of Things devices. �This involves the design and development of physical forms using digital fabrication approaches, such as 3D printing, laser cutting, or Computer Numerical Control (CNC) techniques. �It also involves the design and development of interactive systems that interact through physical forms by employing physical / sensory inputs and outputs. �The course provides foundations in digital design and digital fabrication, small computing systems and programming, physical prototyping with sensors and effectors, as well as elements of user experience design for tangible computing systems.
