Study of selected topics in Public Policy. Section information text: Work and organizations play a crucial role in modern societies and affect every aspect of our daily life. Importantly, gender influences how men and women experience work, occupations, and organizations. This course provides an overview of gender, work, and organizational theories and empirical patterns and trends, with a focus on sociological analyses. In this course, we will explore several key themes and topics related to gender and work, including how gender intersects with other socio-demographic characteristics to affect workplace and labor market outcomes and processes.
