KNSFHP 1106: Breathing for Optimal Living

This course is designed to help students learn optimum breathing for physical, mental & emotional health. Students will learn basic breathing anatomy/function, breathing techniques, how to strengthen the diaphragm, ACSM health fitness guidelines, & risk factors for lung health. A cognitive approach to optimum breathing & a hands-on experience to improve breathing patterns & to reduce stress.
