Molecular genetics of eukaryotes. Replication, repair, mutation, regulation of gene expression, gene organization and methods of recombinant DNA research. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 115 or MICR 166, and CHEM 135 (all with a grade of "C" or better). Must be a declared Biological Sciences BS, Molecular Biology concentration major or Computational Biology BS. Other Biological Sciences majors must get instructor consent. Corequisite(s): BIOL 116L.
