CHE 165A: Plant Design I

Introduction to the technical and economic evaluation of a chemical processing plant design. Introduction to project design and effective team management. First of a two course sequence. Course may be repeated for credit for up to 6 units. Pre/corequisite(s): CHE 158, CHE 161L and CHE 160B; or instructor consent. Misc/Lab: Lecture1 hour/Lab 3 hours. Note(s): CHE 165A and CHE 165B must be completed consecutively in the same academic year. High Impact Practices: Collaborative Assignments/Projects, Capstone and Project.
