FS 101: Expert Witness Testimony

Prepares students for careers requiring courtroom testimony. Students learn the process of scientific testimony in criminal and civil cases and investigate key court rulings, admissibility standards and challenges, how to testify, and ethical considerations. Through a culminating mock trial, students apply course material. Prerequisites: JS/FS 100W, FS 11, or instructor consent
