Students will learn to use Spanish for communication in real, meaningful situations. This course will develop an understanding of basic grammati cal concepts along with obtaining an appreciation of the various cultur es of the Spanish-speaking world. The course follows a communicative ap proach and class time is primarily used for communication practice and Spanish will be spoken in class 99% of the time. By the end of this cou rse students are expected to develop proficiency at the Novice-mid leve l.
