Students will learn to use Spanish for communication in real, meaningful si tuations. This course will develop an understanding of basic grammatical co ncepts along with obtaining an appreciation of various cultures of the Span ish-speaking world. The course follows a communicative approach and class t ime is primarily used for communication practice; Spanish will be spoken in class 99% of the time. By the end of this course students are expected to develop proficiency at the Novice-high or Intermediate-low level.
