Students will learn to use Spanish for communication in real, meaningful si tuations. This course will develop an understanding of basic grammatical co ncepts along with obtaining an appreciation of the various cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. The course follows a communicative approach and cla ss time is primarily used for communication practice and Spanish will be sp oken in class 99% of the time. By the end of this course students are expec ted to develop proficiency at the Novice-high level.
